If you are concerned about your Road Test booking in relation to the Coronavirus, please contact DriveTest on 647-776-0331 (within or GTA) or 1-888-570-6110. If your test is cancelled due to the Coronavirus, DriveTest will advise you accordingly.  Rescheduling can be done depending on the availability of the test centres. Further updates will be posted on this page when we have more information.  


If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, have travelled in the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive or presumptive positive for COVID-19, we ask that you reschedule your visit. If you are accompanying someone that wishes to obtain service, we ask that you wait outside of the DriveTest facility to maintain social distancing if you are not providing support or assistance to that person. 

At DriveTest, the health and safety of our customers, employees, sub-contractors and suppliers has always been our number one priority. During these challenging and unprecedented times, we would like to share with you the steps we are taking to heighten our already rigorous health and safety procedures, so you can be confident about your visit: 

  • Reinforced hygiene practices and proper hand-washing techniques
  • Increasing the availability of disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer at our locations
  • Introducing enhanced cleaning protocols in all of our locations, with particular focus on high traffic and high contact areas
  • Providing ongoing support, leadership and guidance for our staff members on how to handle issues related to the virus
  • Working with our sub-contractors and delivery partners to ensure a safe experience
  • Constant communication with our staff and stakeholders regarding any changes or updates 

In order to minimize the exposure to our staff and prevent transmission of COVID-19, we ask that you: 

  • Reschedule your visit to DriveTest if you have travelled outside the country in the last 14 days, or if you are feeling sick or are experiencing flu like symptoms (e.g. cough, fever, sore throat, etc.)

There are everyday actions that can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses. These include:

  • wash your hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • sneeze and cough into your sleeve
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
  • avoid contact with people who are sick
  • stay home if you are sick
  • Practice social distancing— do your best to keep at least 2 metres from others

In an effort to reduce traffic in our DriveTest Centres, we request that you avoid entering the DTC premises unless absolutely necessary.  DriveTest Centre visitors should be limited to actual Road test applicants and customers who require assistance from one of our Customer Service Agents. 

We are committed to delivering excellent service, and promise that we will continue to be rigorous when it comes to protecting everyone who interacts with our employees. DriveTest will continue to remain open for business and any changes will be communicated on our website and through our automated messaging system.

Our site is protected by SSL when you book, so your payment details are secure. All payment information is handled by our merchant. We are also PCI-DSS compliant. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you. We are only liable for our service fee..


Once you have paid for your road test we will confirm this via email within 1 hour. You will receive your booking confirmation within 48 hours. It is your responsibility to check you've provided the correct email address as this is the only method of confirmation we provide. If you have not received your road test booking confirmation after 3 days of making your payment, check your junk mail then please contact us at immediately with your Booking number. On occasion we may require you to check the information provided in order for us to book your road test, we will contact you via email in this instance.


Each of our services incurs an administration charge of upto $49 payable at the time of booking. Our price includes extra services such as obtaining suitable dates for the customer, changing road test appointments and offering help and advice on what to bring to your test.


The information we collect via the Website may include. Any personal details you knowingly provide us with through forms and our email, such as name, address, telephone number etc. In order to effectively process credit or debit card transactions it may be necessary for the bank or card-processing agency to verify your personal details for authorisation outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such information will not be transferred out of the EEA for any other purpose.   Under no circumstances will we hold sensitive payment details such as your card number, expiry date and security code. All transactions are handled through our accredited merchant.


What we do with your information - Any personal information we collect from this website will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. The details we collect will be used for booking your road test test on line. The material displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we, Road Test Services Ltd, and any third parties connected to us expressly exclude:   All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.    Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our site or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our site, any web sites linked to it and any materials posted on it.This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.


All cancellations are carried out within 24 hours. However we need 5 clear full working days notice before the test to enable a cancellation of the booking without forfeiting the full amount. Rescheduling is free of charge however cancellation without our fault will incur an administration fee of upto $30. If the Test date has been booked the contract has begun with the consumer’s agreement before the end of the cancellation period applicable. A $30 administration fee is payable on all our services in the event of any cancellation or refund given.  Please note, there are no refunds for our Cancellation Finder service, unless this has been requested within 12hs from purchase.
